Visit your optometrist and get a referral if needed. Then you'll be booked per the clinic's availability.
Assessment and plan
Eye pressure, visual field, and a detailed examination, followed by a clear explanation of your results and options.
Treatment, if you need it
Depending on your results, that may mean medication, laser, or surgery when it's the better option. Sometimes, monitoring is enough.
Ongoing care
Regular follow-up, either here at the clinic or back with your optometrist.

Glaucoma usually develops slowly, with no pain and no early symptoms, so side vision can be lost before anything feels wrong. The risk rises with age, which is why a baseline eye exam by 40 and regular checks after that are recommended, sooner if glaucoma runs in your family. Lost vision can't be restored, but early treatment helps protect the vision you have.
